Michigan Qualified Residential Treatment Program (QRTP)

About the Program

We have been contracted with the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services (MDHHS) to manage the state’s Qualified Residential Treatment Programs (QRTP) Independent Assessments as part of the state’s implementation of the Family First Prevention Services Act (FFPSA). Maximus Assessors and Clinical Supervisors assess eligible children referred from the Specialized Placement Division (SPD), Juvenile Justice Assessment Unit (JJAU) and Adoption and Guardian Assistance Office (AGAO) to determine the appropriateness of receiving care in a QRTP. Maximus provides an individualized, person-centered recommendation and assessment findings for the child’s level of care needs. Please continue to check back for updates and added resources.
